Great question! What do you think you will gain by waiting? Even in a recession, what scenario would present lower payments than currently available? Remember, historically speaking, rates are still low! And sellers are getting nervous (leaving opportunities for those who are on the lookout).
HOWEVER, if you are not sure about making a go for it right now, there are a few things you can do while you wait for the right deal to come along:
- Continue building up your cash reserves
- Continue building your A team (great real estate agents, other investor colleagues, the right vendors, etc.)
- Never stop educating yourself! Know what areas you should invest in and the types of properties you are looking for.
